Overarching – Enabling thriving society
Our overarching photography represents our brand messaging and the impact we have in enabling a thriving society.
Overarching photography should be used at a global brand level, where we talk about De La Rue as a whole.
We represent thriving societies through people moving within environments where our products
and services are commonly used, for example shopping centres, airports, busy streets.
The visual style can be minimal and muted, with light airy spaces, or more vibrant with bright rich light and colour, depending on the tonal needs of a specific communication.

Division – Product in society
Our overall division photography features the use of our product within society. This creates a tangible link between our specific product and service offer and our brand messaging, showing our wider impact in society.
We have individual photography that relates to each of our divisions, Currency and Authentication, displaying physical instances of our products in use.
Photography has a focus on the people that benefit from our products, with a candid natural style
and warm tones.
The global side of our brand should be evident when choosing images.

Within our divisions, we have specific products and services with communications that relate to them.
In these instances, we can showcase detailed crops of our high quality product photography.
Product detail photography displays the level of expertise, creativity and innovation at De La Rue, and so can also be used at an overarching global brand level alongside our enabling thriving society photography.
When using product detail photography within divisions and in relation to a specific product or service, make sure that the image accurately represents that product or service, and that we have permission to use it.

Internal – People reportage
For internal communications materials, we use people reportage style photography to represent teamwork and our work environment.
Photography should have a clean minimal tone and people should look natural and candid. While people do not always need to be smiling, they should look content and confident in what they are doing.
